Vibration and preventing its negative impact
Prevention of vibration negative impact is a vital issue at engineering and producing industrial equipment for ventilation system, motor transport and in the construction. It is important to minimize negative impact of vibration when engineering machinery that comprise of a lot of moving gears that cause friction. Excessive vibration may lead not only to discomfort caused by irritating noise but also to unstable work of the machinery or even to its failure.
There are several ways of preventing vibration. The simplest is energy intake. This process is known as vibrodamping or damping, i.e. targeted reduction of vibration level by energy dispersal of the mechanical vibration by irreversible conversion of energy to other kinds of energy – foremost to thermal energy.
